Getting started and privacy (patients)
health.hayaterp.com ↗For patients — sign in to Hayat Health with your mobile number, fill your health profile (allergies, medicines, emergency contact), and see how your data is protected: encryption, consent for each doctor, the access log, the research opt-in (off by default), downloading your data and deleting your account.
You can use Hayat Health on the web at health.hayaterp.com or in the Hayat Health app for Android and iPhone. The app is needed for readings from your phone, watch and Bluetooth devices; everything else works on both.
- Open health.hayaterp.com or the app and type your mobile number.
- You get a code by SMS. Type it in. (No password to remember.)
- The first time, type your name. Your account is made.
You stay signed in on that phone or browser for a few months. Sign out on a shared computer. One mobile number is one person — family members each sign in with their own number.
Your profile
Fill what you know — it makes alerts, explanations and your doctor's safety checks more accurate:
| Field | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Date of birth and sex | Normal ranges differ by age and sex (e.g. haemoglobin), and kidney function (eGFR) needs them |
| Height | With your weight it gives your BMI |
| Blood group | For emergencies |
| Allergies | e.g. penicillin, sulfa — your doctor's medicine suggestions are checked against them |
| Current medicines | Name, dose, how often, since when — checked for interactions |
| Pregnant | Changes normal ranges and which medicines are safe |
| Emergency contact | Name and phone your doctor can see if they cannot reach you |
| CNIC | Optional; 13 digits |
| Language | English or Urdu for explanations and messages |
You can change any of it at any time.
How your data is protected
- Encrypted at rest. Every value, condition, allergy, medicine, note and message, and your name, phone, CNIC and date of birth are stored encrypted. Report files are kept privately and open only for you and the doctors you allow — never on a public link.
- No identity to AI. When Hayat AI reads a report photo or writes an explanation, it gets the test values with your age band and sex only — not your name, phone, CNIC, hospital number or date of birth. Every AI result is labelled as such, and you check it before it is saved.
- Notifications are blank. SMS, push and email messages say only that there is something new — never your values or your name. You read the details after signing in.
- Doctors only with your consent — see below.
Consent: who may see your record
Nobody except you sees anything until you give access. For each doctor (or each hospital) you choose:
| Choice | Means |
|---|---|
| Reports | Your lab reports and the values from them |
| Readings | BP, sugar, oxygen, weight… and the alerts about them |
| Predictions | Risk flags Hayat raises from your values, for the doctor to review |
| Medicines | Your medicines and the prescriptions they write |
| Until | One year by default; up to 5 years |
You can change the choices or stop access at once at any time. How to give access: Your doctors and sharing.
The access log
Your access log lists every time someone other than you opened your record: who (doctor or hospital), when, and what (your readings, a report, an alert, your phone number for a call). If you see someone you do not expect, stop their access and tell Hayat support.
Helping improve predictions (off by default)
Hayat can learn to predict risks better — for example who is likely to develop diabetes — from the records of patients who agree to help. This is a separate choice, off until you switch it on in your settings.
If you switch it on, only a de-identified copy is used: no name, number or ID, age as a band, dates replaced by "day 0, day 90…", and the doctor's yes / no on each flag. If you switch it off again, your rows are deleted at once and not used in the next training.
Download or delete your data
- Download my data gives you one file (JSON) with your profile, reports, values, alerts, messages, shared findings and prescriptions — to keep or to take to another service.
- Delete my account removes your whole Hayat Health record: reports and their files, readings, alerts, messages, findings, prescriptions, consents, hospital links, the access log, any research rows and the account itself. Type DELETE to confirm. It cannot be undone — download your data first if you want to keep it.
Deleting your Hayat Health account does not delete the hospital's own records of your visits; ask the hospital for those.
